New Night & New Home

By Patrick Sweet

After 2 years rehearsing at the Rose & Kiernan building in East Greenbush the Capital Region Celtic Pipe Band has found a new home. With our new practice location we’ve also moved our weekly rehearsals from Tuesday to Monday nights.

The band is now rehearsing at the Colonie Elks in Latham, NY from 7-9pm each Monday evening.

The band wishes to express sincere gratitude to Rose & Kiernan for allowing us to use their space over the last several years.

Nice new space with lots of potential! In many ways it was like Tara Hall’s old days at the Troy AOH. I felt like I was “coming home” when I dropped by practice last Monday. Thanks to the space committee for finding us a new home! And thanks to R&K as well for sheltering us for the last two years.

R&K has been terrific. When we lost our old space R&K stepped up and saved us. Thanks R&K!!
